No plant-specific greenfield construction cost was found for Gordon/DUID GORDON in official owner or government sources. The available official sources instead document a major refurbishment program: Hydro Tasmania stated in August 2024 that $78 million of works will refurbish two of the three turbines and add around 30 years of life; in February 2026 the project page listed machine upgrades and MIV replacements across 2024-2033. Gordon Power Station is 432 MW and was commissioned between 1977 and 1988.
