Plant-specific greenfield capex was not found for the power station itself; the best reported historical construction cost found was the Dartmouth Dam project cost of $139 million in 1979, shared equally by the Commonwealth and the States of Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. The power station was built in conjunction with the dam in the 1970s and has a capacity of 180 MW per AGL. O&M uses AEMO's 2025 conventional hydropower benchmark of $20,000/MW-year, with variable O&M taken as nil because AEMO states variable O&M is not meaningful for hydropower. Given the age of the asset, the 100-year design life is a benchmark-style assumption rather than a site-specific verified value.
